Fundamentally Changing the Future of Farming
The Yapa Harvest Indoor Farm will be one of the first commercial indoor farms in the Southeast United States. Better Quality Food Most vegetables, herbs, and fruit consumed by residents of the southeast United States are grown using pesticides and other chemical support, harvested prior to maturity, and transported for weeks. As a result, traditional farming and distribution channels provide produce that is of poor nutritional quality, has limited shelf-life, and is tasteless. Fortunately, for some crops, the agriculture industry is transitioning from traditional farming to technology-based farming, which provides locally grown, healthy, and delicious produce. Indoor farming is a type of technology-based agriculture. Its development will change the way food is grown and distributed worldwide. Yapa Harvest Farm The Yapa Harvest Farm, located in the metro Atlanta area, will be a commercial facility that grows vegetables, herbs, and vine fruit using indoor farming technology. The farm will grow delicious produce locally, without pesticides and herbicides, and harvested at maturity. Our production process will ensure that healthy, safe, and fresh produce is available to Georgians and residents of the southeast United States year-round. Yapa Harvest Commitment To deliver affordable, healthy, and delicious produce to residents of the southeast United States within days, rather than weeks of harvesting. |
